BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Tickets for the 13th annual Birmingham Bowl went on sale October 1. The game will kick off at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, Dec. 22, on ESPN and will feature teams from the Southeastern Conference and the American Athletic Conference.

The bowl will offer a $15 discount on all tickets if fans order tickets between now and October 15. The Early-Bird discount will allow fans to purchase $50 reserved seating for only $35 and $30 general admission seating for only $15. Tickets can be ordered online at birminghambowl.com. As a part of this year’s ticket purchase, attendees can also opt-in for a “Magic City Pass,” an expanded package that will take them to four of Birmingham’s top attractions for only $10.

Anyone who’s traveled, especially with the family, knows admission prices add up over the course of a few days around town. Each pass gives you one admission to the following Birmingham attractions: Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, McWane Science Center, The Birmingham Zoo, and The Alabama Sports Hall of Fame. This is a value of up to $50. The promotional access offered through the Magic City Pass is valid Monday, December 17 through Saturday, December 22.

In last year’s Birmingham Bowl, the University of South Florida Bulls defeated the Texas Tech Red Raiders, 38 to 34.

Since the game’s inception in 2006, the Birmingham Bowl has generated over $145 million in economic impact for the Birmingham community. Through a partnership with the Monday Morning Quarterback Club, the Bowl has donated $310,000 to the Crippled Children’s Foundation.
