BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Youth football players from Birmingham and the surrounding areas are invited to attend a free half-day football fundamentals clinic on Friday, July 13 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Football Operations Center at Legacy Pavilion.

The Football Clinic hosted by Coach Bill Clark is open to the first 200 youth, ages 8-13. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. with the clinic set to run 9 a.m. to noon. Register online at birminghambowl.com. For additional information, contact the Birmingham Bowl office at (205) 733-3776 x103.

UAB football coach Bill Clark and his coaching staff will lead the clinic, giving attendees the opportunity to participate in on-field agility drills and offensive and defensive training. Each attendee will receive a complimentary T-shirt, a boxed lunch and two tickets for the 13th annual Birmingham Bowl scheduled for Saturday, December 22.

“We are pleased to again partner with Alabama Power and other sponsors to provide area youth the opportunity to receive on-field instructions from Coach Clark and his staff. We look forward to a great turnout this year at the Football Operations Center at Legacy Pavilion,” said Mark Meadows, executive director of the Birmingham Bowl.
